The HP ProLiant DL380 Generation 5 (G5) Server is designed for advanced performance applications that require high availability and redundancy. With its hot plug fans and power supplies, it delivers high system availability where the number of unplanned downtimes, due to hardware failures, is minimized.

With one (1) state-of-the-art Dual-Core Intel Xeon Processor 5140 (2.33 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 65 W, 1333 FSB), and two (2) 512 MB PC2-5300 fully buffered DIMMs (DDR2-667), it provides the performance and scalability for small-sized Bosch Video Management System Central Server environments, as well as for the advanced performance requirements of a Bosch Video Management System-NVR, a VIDOS Server and a VIDOS-NVR installation. In addition, the server is protected by HP Services which includes a 3–year standard warranty (NBD).

The server comes in a 2U, 19-in. rack mount version with a quick-deploy rail system, including sliding universal rails. The rack mount version allows access to all system components for easy in-rack serviceability.

With two (2) single channel U320 SCSI Host Bus Adapters, external SCSI storage arrays (like the BOSCH SCSI storage systems) may be connected to the server to provide highcapacity data storage.
