PatrolIR / PatrolIR PTZ
Affordable thermal imager for short and medium range security and surveillance applications

The PatrolIR and PatrolIR PTZ are very affordable thermal imagers. They provide crisp, clear thermal imagery in total darkness, light fog or smoke. They feature the same thermal imaging technology found in many of FLIR’s most sophisticated security and surveillance systems, but are packaged for users who have short-range security and surveillance as their primary application. They include FLIR’s advanced image processing techniques which deliver excellent contrast regardless of scene dynamics. Unlike other night vision systems that require low amounts of light to generate an image, the PatrolIR and PatrolIR PTZ need no light at all. The PatrolIR is a fixed unit while the PatrolIR PTZ is mounted on a Pan/Tilt.

Wide-angle lens	The PatrolIR and PatrolIR PTZ are equipped with a 19 mm wide angle lens. It gives you an extremely wide field of view (36°), so that you can cover a large area and keep excellent situational awareness.
Crisp thermal images 320 x 240 pixels	Both the PatrolIR and the PatrolIR PTZ provide crisp, clear thermal imaging, with 320 x 240 pixels. This allows the user to see more detail and detect more and smaller objects. Advanced internal camera software delivers a crisp image without the need for user adjustments. Both cameras provide high quality thermal imaging in any night or daytime environmental conditions.
Designed for use in harsh environments	The PatrolIR and PatrolIR PTZ are extremely rugged systems. Their vital core is well protected, meeting Mil-Std-810E and IP66 requirement, against humidity and water. Both cameras operate between -25°C and +55°C.
Lightweight	Being very lightweight, the PatrolIR and PatrolIR PTZ can be installed at any position. They can be mounted at an optimal observation point providing maximum field of view.
Easy-to-use	The PatrolIR and PatrolIR PTZ are extremely easy to use and require no operator training.
Easy-to-install	The PatrolIR and PatrolIR PTZ can be easily integrated into any existing CCTV infrastructure providing early detection and visibility 24/7 all the year round. The images from the 320 x 240 pixels detector can be displayed on virtually any existing display that accepts composite video.
Two versions available	The thermal imaging camera comes in two different versions: - PatrolIR: This is a fixed mount thermal imaging camera. Once installed, it is always surveying the same area. - PatrolIR PTZ: The PatrolIR PTZ can rotate up to +/- 180° horizontally and tilt +/- 45° vertically. This allows the operator to scan an entire area and observe wherever he wants.
