Information
Panasonic WVNP472 Day/Night Camera
Broadband capable - one network camera for 24 hour surveillance.
New from Panasonic, the WV-NP472 directly connects to either digital or analogue devices. Simply set the IP address and connect it to an Ethernet terminal for monitoring and control from a PC, or use the analogue video out to connect to conventional monitoring systems using coaxial cable.
The WV-NP472 camera utilizes Panasonic’s Super Dynamic II technology to capture images in difficult lighting conditions.
The day/night switching automatically switches from colour to black and white when the light levels drop. It operates in light as low as 0.8 lux in colour mode and 0.1 lux in black and white.
The WV-NP472 is designed for monitoring over a WAN or the internet and its wide range of functions make it ideal for such applications as banks, offices and retail outlets.
Super Dynamic II technology provides 80* times the range of conventional video cameras, providing clear, viewable surveillance images even in extreme backlit and high contrast lighting situations.
When motion is detected in the camera image, an alarm is sent. By connecting the alarm to a digital disk recorder that stores the image, you can construct a highly effective automated image-capture system.
The monitor displays a title identifying the camera that is the source of the image. The title can be up to 16 characters long and combine alphabetic, numeric, and symbolic characters.
