The new WV-NW470S series is the latest addition to Panasonic’s full line of vandal proof cameras. With Super Dynamic II technology and the ability to be connected to both digital and analogue networks, the WV-NW470S series is just the solution you need for a variety of security applications.

The WV-NW470 allows for 24-hour surveillance and senses darkness switching automatically from daytime colour to night time black-and-white. It can also be connected to an Ethernet network for remote monitoring by PC.

The WV-NW470 supports full colour images in light as low as 0.8 lux and black-and-white images at 0.1 lux. Crisp clear images are produced at 480 lines of horizontal resolution in colour mode and 570 lines in black-and-white mode and 2x vari-focal lens to view objects in greater detail.

The digital motion detector sense movement and sends an alarm signal to the system thus reducing the chance of missing key images. Adjustments are made easy with the 3D hinge allowing for pan, tilt and azimuth movement of the camera. The WV-NW470 series is tough enough to resist severe shocks and is rain and wind resistant, ideal for outdoor use.

VMD (Video Motion Detection) function
When motion is detected in the camera image, an alarm is sent. By connecting the alarm to a digital disk recorder that stores the image, you can construct a highly effective automated image-capture system.

Camera Title
The monitor displays a title identifying the camera that is the source of the image. The title can be up to 16 characters long and combine alphabetic, numeric, and symbolic characters.

2x Variable Focal Lens is Standard Equipment

Equipped with a 2x variable-focal lens plus an additional 2x electronic zoom, this camera can view their subjects in greater details.
