Simply everything in view
The new Red Eye camera misses virtually nothing, whether by day or at night. Fitted with a high-speed pan-and tilt head, it pans through more than 180° per second in constant rotation, can be titled up to 290° and reacts in a flash in any position. The day/night camera contains a zoom lens with a focal length of 4.1 mm – 73.8 mm. Thanks to this 18x zoom option, essential impressions can be captured in excellent image quality. Additionally it is available as 36x zoom version with lens of 3.4 – 122.4 mm focal length.

Steadfast even in a tough environment
Made from sturdy, powder-coated aluminium, the housing of the Red Eye is vandalism-proof and, as a result, can be deployed at many locations. It was specially designed for monitoring dangerous and endangered locations, for example prisons or motorways. It is also particularly resistant against scratches or oxidation, and even against targeted attacks. Provided with the protection class IP67, even extreme weather conditions do not hinder the installation of the camera outdoors. This is possible thanks to convenient mounting either as a ceiling or wall installation.

Always remaining clean …
is not a problem for the Red Eye. In contrast to conventional dome cameras, it is possible to keep the lens surface clean using a wiper unit included in the scope of delivery. Dirt or water is therefore removed quickly and simply from the additionally reinforced face-plate; a washer unit is available as an option. So nothing stands in the way any more of a completely clear view and the wiper unit can be removed at any time.

Another major advantage is gained from the lack of a lower dome and so there is absolutely no aberration in the image. That means a constantly sharp image of the object being viewed.
