The SSC-CD43VP Colour mini fixed dome camera is more discreet than traditional security cameras, without compromising on picture quality providing an excellent resolution of 480 TV lines. The vari-focal lens allows you to set the optimum viewing area, while installing is even made more flexible as the SSC-CD43VP can automatically switch to either 12 V DC or 24 V AC operation.
The offered discreteness and Sonys original sleek triangular design makes it ideal for the surveillance of sites where video cameras should be less noticeable such as building entrances, retail stores, museums and shopping malls.

High resolution of 480 TV lines

The SSC-CD43VP incorporates a ¼ IT SuperHADTM CCD providing an outstanding resolution of 480 TV lines and a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 50 dB (AGC Off, Weight On).

Built-in CS Mount, Auto Iris Vari-Focal Lens

The SSC-CD43VP mini fixed domes come with a built-in CS mount, auto iris vari focal lens with a focal length of 3.0 to 8.0 mm to cover a broad range of viewing choices and feature a new masked dome cover with a clear slit. The large angle of view range: 66.6° to 26.9° (H), 49.3° to 20.1° (V) covers a wide range of viewing areas.

Easy Mounting and Installation

Picture adjustment after installation is easy thanks to the incorporated lens. The position of the mini domes vari-focal lens can be freely rotated to allow for quick and easy changes in the viewing area after installation.

Two-way mounting

The SSC-CD43VP can be conveniently surface mounted or, alternatively, can be flush mounted using an optional in-ceiling mounting bracket. The clear polycarbonate dome cover is also available as an optional to the standard smoked dome cover for greater sensitivity of cameras.

Turbo AGC

The SSC-CD43VP is equipped with an advanced Turbo AGC function. This boosts the range of the cameras AGC by up to 24 dB so that a subject under low illumination can be distinguished more clearly

AC24V / DC12V operation

Either AC 24V or DC 12V is selected automatically for proper operation upon power supplying.

Backlight compensation

Centre weighted backlight compensation is offered to make the object easily visible under strong backlight conditions.

Automatic White Balance Control

The SSC-CD43VP incorporates a wide-range ATW (Auto Tracing White Balance) function. It adjusts the white balance automatically in response to the light conditions. The usable range of 2,200 K to 10,000 K allows the camera to be used under a wide variety of light conditions.

External sync line lock (AC operation only)

The SSC-CD43VP feature AC line lock for external synchronisation. Using the AC power frequency (50 Hz) as the vertical sync reference, roll-free switching for multi-camera installations can be achieved. These cameras also have an externally adjustable Vertical Phase (±90°) control so that accurate synchronisation can be attained.
