Sony introduces a new line of fixed mini-dome cameras. All of these cameras employ highly sensitive imagers that produce amazingly clear and detailed images in a number of security and surveillance monitoring applications. For easy setup, they incorporate the Sony patented Ball-Joint Lens Mount mechanism, which provides quick and easy adjustment of the camera’s viewing angle during installation.

The SSC-CD77P and SSC-CD75P are vandal-resistant mini-domes designed for either indoor or outdoor use. The SSC-CD77/CD77P camera incorporates the latest 1/3-type CCD with SuperExwave TM technology, which provides superb sensitivity. Designed for 24x7 operation, it also incorporates a Day/Night function that can produce detailed images even in zero lx*1 lighting conditions. The SSC-CD75/CD75P utilizes a 1/3-type Super HAD CCD TM to deliver high-quality colour images and is perfect for security applications that do not require a day/night capability.

The SSC-CD49P and the SSC-CD45P are compact and discreet dome cameras designed for indoor security and surveillance monitoring applications. The SSC-CD49/CD49P camera incorporates unique Sony DynaView TM technology to provide a wide dynamic range when viewing high-contrast scenes with severe backlighting, such as a window or an entrance to a building.

1/3-type CCD with SuperExwave technology
This camera has an advanced 1/3-type CCD imager with SuperExwave technology to achieve superb picture quality. This highly sensitive imager provides a minimum illumination of 0.6 lx in colour and 0.06 lx in monochrome at F1.3.

Sony-patented Ball-Joint Lens Mount mechanism
This mechanism is incorporated into the vari-focal lens, enabling the lens to be rotated freely in any direction. Unlike conventional cameras, a simple single action is all that’s required to adjust the pan and tilt angle. It provides quick and easy adjustment of the cameras viewing angle during installation.

Day/Night function for 24/7 operation
This enables the camera to switch from day to night mode (colour/monochrome), replacing the infrared cut filter with a clear filter. It switches modes using an external sensor or automatically in response to light conditions. For zero lx operation, it can simultaneously switch to night mode and trigger near-IR illuminators.

High horizontal resolution
The high-quality CCD imager, combined with this cameras state-of-the-art DSP technology, produces a high horizontal resolution of 540 TV lines for amazingly clear and detailed images.

Flexible and easy installation
This camera is easily wall-mounted or ceiling mounted (a supplied mounting bracket is required). Camera focus and viewing angle can be easily and accurately adjusted using the secondary video output (the RCA phono jack, located at the rear of the camera along with a BNC video output).

Ruggedised, vandal-resistant design
This vandal-resistant camera is housed in a heavy-duty aluminium die cast enclosure with an impact-resistant polycarbonate dome. It complies with the IP66 ingress protection standard and has a special inner conduit for the camera cables. An optional YT-HU75 Heater Unit option is for cold weather outdoor applications.

Backlight Compensation (BLC)
Unwanted backlight can often cast a shadow in front of the subject of an image, making it appear dark to the camera. This function automatically compensates for such conditions, so the subject is more visible on the monito

Auto Tracing White Balance (ATW)/ATW Pro
ATW (2,000 K - 10,000 K colour temperature compensation) adjusts the white balance in changing light conditions. In natural light, incandescent lamps or fluorescent light sources, ATW Pro (2,500 K - 6,000 K compensation) reproduces colour images closer to what we see with our eyes.
